Debbie is a Word Processor in PSC’s Clerical Department. She is responsible for formatting and editing Specs, letters and all PSC documents. She is the beautiful face of the East building, as she is the first face you see when you walk in! She organizes meetings and takes care of any requests made by PSC employees or clients. Debbie is from Denver City, has eaten Octopus she bought on the side of the road, is known as “Dooba” to her grandkids, and drives her Doobamobile!

Tell us a little about yourself. I’m happiest when surrounded by my family. I am a member at South Plains Church of Christ and serve as elders. I grew up on the farm and will always be a farm girl at heart.

Do you volunteer/participate in non-profits/charities? Walk to Emmaus, Marriage Made in God’s Image, Pen Pal program.

Before working at PSC, what was the most unusual/interesting job you’ve ever had? I hoed weeds in Daddy’s cotton fields. As a teenager, I did so in my bikini and boots to catch rays. Years later, I learned local male teens knew and would try and find me! Ack!

If you could pick one theme for PSC to turn into a book about the company, what would it be? Employee Satisifaction – most businesses don’t realize their employees are the greatest asset. PSC values this asset and shows it!

Do you recall any embarrassing moments at work? EVERY TIME I open my mouth, something embarrassing comes out!

What has been your favorite project at PSC? I don’t get to see projects from birth to completion. I only play a small role in them. However, I take pride and ownership in everything that has my name or has PSC on it!

What’s your proudest moment at PSC? When asked to be on the Fun Committee! 🙂

Tell us a little bit about your family. I have been married to James for 31 years. Sydni (27) is married and has 1 child and is a Nurse Practitioner here in Lubbock. Kaci (25) is married with 2 children, and a photographer. Brady (22) works at Academy.

Tell us three things most people don’t know about you. 1) I love to camp, hike, and just be outdoors; 2.) I’ll do or try anything at least once; 3.) I wanted to be on Fear Factor.

What phobias do you have? ROACHES!

What TV show are you ashamed to admit you love? The Bachelor/Bachelorette. I watch with my daughters. It’s good girl time & a guilty pleasure.

What is one thing you can’t live without? My Family. My Husband. My God.
