The Midland County Courthouse, a 223,000-square-foot converted office building, opened for business on Sept. 23, 2010. Described as a “cutting edge facility built for the future,” the modern, $31.6 million structure was designed by Parkhill, Smith & Cooper and boasts 11 floors, eight courtrooms, an auxiliary courtroom, and a central jury room.
